Hi there, I’m Gabrielle, a Licensed Professional Counselor serving clients virtually throughout Texas. I walked many paths searching for my calling and ultimately found it in an unexpected place: volunteering as a yoga teacher in a prison. Each class began and ended with sharing circles, where men spoke openly about their lives, regrets, hopes, and fears. It was in those moments that I felt most aligned with my purpose. I knew I wanted to accompany people through both the darkness and the light of being human. Over time—through my work as a therapist and my own journey as a person—I’ve learned that I’ll never hold all the answers. But I feel a profound sense of honor in witnessing the courage of self-discovery.
My approach is rooted in existential analysis, which means meeting life’s big questions directly: Who am I? What matters most? How do I live with integrity, even after mistakes have been made? I believe that facing the burden of responsibility is what allows us to live with real freedom. This isn’t about blame or shame—it’s about choosing a stance in your life and reclaiming your right to live in alignment with your truth.
Agency doesn’t grow in isolation. My years working in prisons taught me that even in life’s darkest places, healing happens through relationship. In therapy, the relationship we build becomes the container where responsibility can be faced, defenses released, and new ways of living practiced. This relational space is the catalyst for change that ultimately helps you reclaim authenticity, purpose, and deeper connection.
